Screening Youth for Mental Health Problems
Since we screen children and youth for hearing, vision, and academic problems in school, it only makes sense we should also screen kids for serious mental and emotional problems. Some school districts do just that, but unfortunately, most do not. Columbia University's TeenScreen Program seeks to identify students in need of help. Check it out!
